If this year follows last year’s lead, it is set to be another scorcher of a summer. A few things to consider before instaling your own roof terrace
- Is your roof suitable with regards weight and structure? We suggest consulting an expert.
- Will the terrace add value and provide a return on your investment?
- Do you need planning permission?
- Discuss your plans with your neighbours and consider how your build will affect them in terms of being overlooked, blocking their view etc.
