Say Goodbye to Purple Rain at Prince’s Favourite Caribbean Getaway
Whenever Prince liked to get away from the harsh winters that Minneapolis is famous for, he would head to his very own Turks & Caicos Island Estate. Soon after the singer sadly passed away in 2016, this holiday retreat went up for sale and is now heading to auction. The purple driveway that can be seen as you head towards this 5-acre residency in Providenciales is a giveaway of the former owner.
This is where the mark he left begins and ends in this property though, as the main colour you will see is the crystal clear turquoise-hues of the Caribbean.
Inside the 10,000 sq. ft interior of the property, there are 5 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms, while in the exterior you will find a tennis court, swimming pool, 200 ft private dock and if that’s not enough, not just one but two private beaches.
Before you sign up to join the auction, it is worth noting that interested buyers need to put forward a cool $100,000 deposit just to have a chance when the auction takes place.
