The ground floor apartment has a kitchen, bathroom, sitting/dining room and a double bedroom. Three-Bed Terrace – Shaftesbury Avenue, Hull. Auction Guide Price £100,000

Three-Bed Terrace, Hull William H Brown, Rightmove £100,000

For sale by auction for a guide price of £100,000 this mid-terraced, three-bedroomed home has bags of potential.

Situated in a ‘highly sought-after’ residential area just a few minutes’ walk from Hull’s stunning East Park with its boating lake, Zoo, Children’s playground and bowling green, the spacious property boasts three reception and three bedrooms.

Although the house requires a fair degree of updating, this does mean the buyers will be able to put their own stamp on the property.

To the front, is a garden with a hedge, wall and fence surround. To the rear of the property is a fenced garden area and rear vehicular access.

The property also benefits from excellent shopping, transport links and a plethora of leisure activities nearby (in addition to East Park) including a leisure centre and skate park. The agents, William H. Brown, Hull are expecting high demand for this property, so call to book your viewing today.

One-Bedroom Houseboat – Rotherhithe SE16, £100,000

Ever fancied living the simple life on a houseboat? Now’s your chance to secure a one-bedroomed, triple-decked motorboat with a permanent residential mooring in South Dock Marina, SE16 (annual mooring fee £5,955.12).

Needing some modernisation, the Hippo is ideally located for travel throughout London. The agent Riverhomes, South West London writes that you can reach Shoreditch in 20 minutes, Peckham in 18 minutes, Bond Street in 26 minutes and it’s one stop to Canary Wharf using the TFL’s water taxi service (Oyster card accepted), so may suit finance professionals.

The marina is within a free parking zone & provides facilities such as concierge service, hyperoptic broadband, electricity, and water & waste disposal.

The agents note that the current owner has converted the previous make-shift bathroom into a wardrobe so uses the shower facilities on the jetty, also they haven’t used the boat as such for the three years they have occupied the boat, so the engines likely need attention before starting up and casting off on your London riverboat adventure.
