This compact mobile home offers occupants a cosy yet spacious living environment measuring just 6.0m long by 2.4m wide and 4.3m high. Priced at AUD 104,900 and designed for family life, this luxurious mini property on a trailer, features a kitchenette, a built-in mini-bar, a large shower space, a raised daybed platform and a queen-size loft bedroom. Boasting panoramic views from the living and bedroom inside and outside from the attractive decking, this tiny home epitomises mobile living on a micro, luxurious scale.

There are several upgrades available for the Gunnamatta including air conditioning (offering heating and cooling), a pod and pergola for the decking area or complete off-grid solutions including solar power systems, composting toilets, rainwater harvesting and greywater systems.

Tiny off-grid floating holiday home – from £169 per night

For property investors looking to offer an ‘at one with nature’ experience for their holiday-let occupants, the Bora Boréal project may offer some inspiration. Situated on the shore of a stunning lake in Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury, Canada, approximately 30 minutes from Quebec, this serene floating tiny home, the MiniBora N°2, offers occupants year-round off-the-grid living.

The chalet measuring just 12 feet wide by 35 feet long, boasts a spacious interior with areas for dining, sleeping and relaxation. The living room features modular sofas doubling as a guest bed, a spacious kitchen and dinette area and easy attic ladder access to the loft bedroom.  The floating retreat is securely anchored to the shore with metal cables and rests on PVC floats filled with foam for buoyancy. It is powered by two 250 W solar panels and six batteries, while amenities include a woodstove, propane heater and a separate urine-diverting toilet.

UK road-legal towable 2-bedroom tiny house – from £60,750

Measuring just 23 sq.m, the Nomad 2-bedroom tiny house exudes the charm of a quaint country cottage while boasting a static and fully road-legal, towable version. Using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) to provide a sustainable, high-performing building to reduce running costs and the carbon emissions of each module, the Nomad’s thermo-treated wood exterior is complemented by its bright white interior that spans seamlessly from the living room to a ladder-accessed single bedroom and a spacious king-size loft.
